We've enjoyed many sunny weekends along the Russian River - the valley is a great place to take advantage of when you need a break from the city! Rent a kayak, canoe, or paddle board from either Johnson's, or Memorial Beach. Or take a note from our book and grab some wine and cheese and heads to Mom's Beach in Forestville.
Miles of hiking trails and great views of the Russian River Valley. It's a great quick 10 minutes from the central Healdsburg Plaza and would be a great way to spend an afternoon, or morning before hitting a few wineries.
Nearby Jenner and Bodega Bay provide scenic drives from Healdsburg and offer that California Coastal charm you might be looking for. If you're interested in exploring the coastline further, please feel free to reach out for recommendations between Mendocino and Big Sur.
